Our take
I ordered the 20 lb pair of these hex dumbbells and they've been a workhorse in my home gym. The rubber coating is thick and has held up well, and the hex shape stops them from rolling. The chrome handle is smooth but the textured grip helps a bit, though I prefer more knurling. The ergonomic handle shape is comfortable for curls and presses. At $100 for a 20 lb pair, the price is fair. The set offers a good weight range for progressive overload. My only concern is that the handle finish might wear over time. Worth considering for a home setup.
